Ever get home and see your pugs doing something that make you go "Wow, that's NEW"?

This happened just the other day, we went out shopping and got home to find pugs sleeping on our dining table. Then it progressed from there to actually squeezing through the blinds to look out the window.

This morning I had a couple of errands to run, and I decided to take my camera with, so I could show you all what I mean. This is what I found when I got home.

PROOF!!!

A Pug in the blinds!!!

Two pugs behind the blinds!!!

Two pugs on a kitchen table!!!

Need I say MORE?!?!?!? LOL

I think there are certain characteristics that are typical to a Pup, namely food and sleep. If there's food anywhere in sight, then my Pugs are there, and if there's a chance that they can get away with sleeping on the bed, with one of the family members, they are most certainly THERE.

This morning, I looked at the clock, it was 10:35am and our 7 year old daughter, Jasmine, was still asleep. Wonder where the pugs where???

This is what I found when I walked into her room.

See?!?!?! They don't even try to hide the fact that they were sleeping late, they just lay there looking all sweet and adorable. :)

The girls get along really well, although every once in a while I have to break up a full on fight. Always reminds me of those cartoons where you see a pile of dust LOL

It's always over a treat, or because Lola (the puppy) wants to mess with Bella, and she is just not in the mood to be bugged. Other than that they really do love each other.

I have pics to prove it too. Just look at this, aren't they adorable????

Lola is pretty much done being in "Heat", boy was that not a fun time for her or us, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. :)

I had some video of them playing, but I need to upload it and then post it on here. Until then, love your puggies and keep smiling :)

Well at first I was freaking out with this whole heat thing and the bleeding etc. But then I realized that it's not that bad, I just have to keep an eye on her for the meantime and help her through this, it can't be easy on her either.

What woman likes going through that?!?!?!? LOL

I did notice today that she isn't bleeding as much anymore, it's almost gone, so that's a plus. We tried putting a diaper on her yesterday as someone had suggested, we didn't have any of the diapers specifically for dogs, so I took one of Nicholas's old one and cut out a hole for the tail.
That didn't work for long (hehehe).

First Lola tried to get it off and then Bella came to the rescue and completely removed it from her. So with that done, and her not willing to wear a diaper, I covered the couches with old blankets and last night covered my bed with an old sheet and let them sleep on that. Worked perfectly and I didn't have to kick my girls out of the bedroom :)

and I don't mean the hot weather. LOL

The girls sleep on the bed with us and that's fine, we don't mind at all. This morning though I get up and there's blood spots all over my comforter, I couldn't figure out where they were coming from at first and then I saw Lola laying down and realized it was from her. Great........so how long do I have to deal with this for??? LOL

My question is, is there anything I can do to avoid this, because I don't want to end up with blood spots all over my beds and couches. Any help would really be appreciated :)

Here's some pics of the girls playing this morning, they've finally become good friends and love running around and playing. :)

Well it's been extremely easy getting the girls to get along. In my first post after getting Bella, I had said that I was worried that night and wondering if I had done the right thing, but now I'm more than sure that I did.

Yes they have their moments, it's like watching my kids and their sibling rivalry. LOL

They love running around and playing together, just this morning they were playing tag, which was hilarious to see. Lola would run around one side of the house and Bella would wait for her and then take off running until she bumped into Lola, then turn around and run away, while Lola chased after her. It was too funny, I only wish I had my camera ready :)

The kids did snap some pics of me and Bella cuddling, so I'm going to share those :) Enjoy!!!

Well the girls are doing great, and Bella is starting to feel at home. At first she was very quiet and withdrawn I guess she was getting used to being in a new place and new people, but yesterday she started showing us a lot more of her personality. What a sweetheart!!!

They still fight a bit, usually over food, and we've had to tell them "NO FIGHTING" in a loud voice a couple of times, but they usually stop straight away.

So this afternoon while eating our lunches, we figured out that Bella loves dancing. LOL

Well here's a video so you can see for yourself :)

Video Hosting - Upload Video - Video Sharing

Isn't that just the funniest thing??? This weekend we are planning on taking them to the groomers to get all pretty LOL
Then next week it's VET time, I'm sure they won't be thrilled, but it has to be done, and Bella will be getting spayed too so wish us luck :)
